Transformation & Release
A Soul Tarot Spread for August 2019 (spread created by Lindsay Mack, teacher of Soul Tarot).

1. Card for the Month of August
King of Swords invites us to speak honestly, and not be afraid to be the bad guy and talk about things no one else has ever said. This is the truth-teller, and our voice is meant to amplify and evolve whole generations, whether speaking to one or many. We can move very very far with our communication in this card. We are being asked to speak on something that is in the heart and is ready to come up through the throat. Even if we are afraid, truth is ready to be spoken and we are the one to speak it.
Message: Be true to yourself.
2. Where am I being invited to transform?
8 of Cups invites us to move on from something that no longer serves us. We may have built, spent time on, and worked hard on this, but this thing is no longer serving our higher purpose. It is something we cherished, so there may be grief in the walking away, but we are stepping away with the hope of something better, even if we may not know what that better is. Let go of the emotional attachment that has kept us hooked. We are fully reconnected with our inner trust and the new path that lies before us. Release, shed, and walk away from all that doesn’t serve us, letting it be was easy, graceful, and aligned a process as it can possibly be.
Message: Walk away from what no longer serves, even if it’s painful. Trust that there is something better on the path ahead.
3. What do I need to leave behind in order to do so?
Ace of Wands, in this part of the reading, is asking us to release any doubts about ourselves and our ability to truly be able to create what we want. We are capable of beaming ourselves out into the world with a deep, creative offering from the fire of our being. Let go of self doubt or doubting in the support of the universe, and express yourself. Let the Ace of Wands ignite the flames of your creativity and passion!
Message: Release worries about being able to bring your creative offering out into the world.
4. What do I need to embrace in order to do so?
Ace of Cups invites us to LOVE OURSELVES. This is a beautiful opportunity to expand our capacity for love, whether toward ourself or others. This is about loving ourselves first, in a true, deep, nourishing way. Ace of Cups offers us a soul-centered baptism, one where we can experience a rebirth in the waters of our self love and self trust. Embrace love. For yourself, and from others. There is a new opportunity here.
Message: Love yourself, and be open to receiving love.
5. Where am I expanding?
Prince of Cups (Knight of Cups) shows that we are capable of moving through our life with ease and grace. It is a card of gentleness. We can transmute difficulty into healing. We are able to leave a place in our lives little better than when we walked into it. I also think this card speaks about love. Honorable, trustworthy love. Let this expand within you, and be willing to give and receive love.
Message: Being gentle with yourself, and opening your capacity to love yourself. This knight is the ultimate lover. Caring, loving, gentle with your feelings. You are expanding into more of this for yourself.
6. The card that will support me in the expansion
10 of Cups invites us to be fully present. No matter what is happening in our life, we can find happiness in a rainbow that may be in our lives at this particular moment. Be there for this moment. It is possible to have fulfillment and happiness in life, no matter where you may find yourself, so be present.
Message: Being more present. Appreciating the joys that are already there, and knowing you can have this.
